About the role

Club Berowra is seeking an experienced Bistro Bar Supervisor to join our team in Berowra, NSW. This is a casual role that will see you overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy bistro and bar. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth running of the bar area and general ordering of beverages. The shifts will include evenings Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

RSA and RCG are required.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and directing the work of bar staff to ensure efficient and timely service
  • Handling cash and reconciling tills at the end of each shift
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the bar area
  • Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as required
  • Liaising with the kitchen team to coordinate food and beverage service
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any customer queries or complaints
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant licensing and health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a busy bar or restaurant environment
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in cash handling and stock management
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service, including liquor licensing regulations
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
