Building Designer
 who can combine creativity, compliance, and constructability to deliver exceptional outcomes.

The Opportunity

This is a full-time role based in 
Swan Hill, VIC.
Onsite, full-time (no work-from-home option). To be considered, you must be based in Australia and have full working rights.

The expected salary range is $85,000 to $105,000 with experience, training and skills all considered prior to an offer.

As a 
Building Designer
, you'll play a central role in shaping Entegra's designs during the 
Discover
 and 
Design
 phases — where client ideas become practical, cost-effective, and buildable solutions.

You'll create concept designs, refine architectural and structural layouts, and develop design documentation that balances form, function, and compliance. You'll also help standardise design systems, improve documentation quality, and work closely with sales and preconstruction to bring clarity and precision to every project.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop concept and design documentation (plans, elevations, 3D models, isometrics) that clearly communicate project intent.
• Work with sales and preconstruction teams to refine designs for functionality, cost, and constructability.
• Ensure all designs meet Australian building codes, NCC, and Entegra's design standards.
• Contribute to standardising templates, drawing sets, and detail libraries for greater efficiency.
• Provide input into the continuous improvement of design processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafting staff, and project managers to ensure seamless project delivery.

Who You Are

You're a technically skilled designer who loves solving problems and improving systems. You're practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative, high-output environment.

You bring:

• 3+ years
   experience in building or architectural design (industrial, agricultural, or commercial preferred)
• Strong proficiency with 
  AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools
• Solid understanding of 
  NCC, BCA, and Australian Standards
• The ability to manage multiple design packages and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills — you're proactive and solutions-driven

You may also have:

• A 
  degree or diploma
   in Architecture, Building Design, or a related field
• Experience producing or coordinating full architectural drawing sets
• Familiarity with food, manufacturing, or large agricultural facility layouts
