As Centre Director at C&K Middlemount, you'll lead a 74-place centre offering high-quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You'll be at the heart of a warm, connected community that values early learning and supports the people who make it happen. Our centre features a spacious, nature-based playground designed to ignite curiosity and a love of learning. We are actively investing in high-quality learning environments that reflect the way children learn best—through open-ended play, real-world exploration, and creative thinking. A key part of this investment includes the integration of loose parts play—providing children with access to natural and everyday materials that can be moved, combined, redesigned, and taken apart. These materials encourage problem-solving, collaboration, and imaginative play, empowering children to take the lead in their own learning. At C&K Middlemount, children are given time and space to think, discover, and grow - in an environment that's as inspiring as it is safe.

What You'll Bring

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved) OR equivalent. 
• Current or willing-to-obtain Child Protection Training
• Up-to-date First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
• A valid Blue Card or Exemption Card and current Police Check
• Knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide
• A passion for high-quality outcomes, a collaborative spirit, and a heart for community
