Epping Boys High School is a proudly comprehensive high school for boys with an enrolment of
around 1500. A Middle School and Senior School structure recognises and enhances the learning
and wellbeing needs of all students and is complemented by the Boys to Men Program which
engages boys in learning, promotes wellbeing and builds young men who are connected to their
community. The School Improvement Plan values data driven practice and strong collaboration

tradition of academic and sporting excellence and enjoys a high profile in music and the creative
and performing arts. With more than 100 co-curricular activities offered and each year group
involved in charity fundraising, the development and nurturing of the whole boy is crucial to the
ethos of the school. A diverse student community with an Inclusive Education (Autism) Unit and
72% of students coming from a language background other than English contributes to an
inclusive and dynamic learning environment that is supported by an active and involved P&C
and broader parent community with a strong commitment to supporting the strategic directions
of the school.

Approved to teach Visual Arts with a demonstrated ability to lead a diverse faculty cultivating a collaborative and high performing team in a school environment with high expectations.
Demonstrated ability to implement educational programs that meet the needs of a diverse student body
Demonstrated organisational and interpersonal skills to lead whole school cocurricular activities that engage the school and the school community.
Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
