Epping Boys High School is a proudly comprehensive high school for boys with an enrolment of

around 1500. A Middle School and Senior School structure recognises and enhances the learning

and wellbeing needs of all students and is complemented by the Boys to Men Program which

engages boys in learning, promotes wellbeing and builds young men who are connected to their

Applicants must satisfy the teacher training and academic qualification requirements for this position. In addition to the general selection criteria,

1. Approved to teach Visual Arts with a demonstrated ability to lead a diverse faculty cultivating a collaborative and high performing team in a school environment with high expectations.

2. Demonstrated ability to implement educational programs that meet the needs of a diverse student body

3. Demonstrated organisational and interpersonal skills to lead whole school cocurricular activities that engage the school and the school community.

1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice

2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs

3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams

4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents

5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning

6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
