Toongabbie Christian College seeks to appoint a Head of Faculty Creative and Performing Arts who will:

Maintain a commitment to a faithful walk with the Lord Jesus Christ
Demonstrate ongoing commitment to the College's Purpose and Purpose statements
Commit to a growing understanding of the place of education, teaching and learning from a Biblical Worldview
Set an example to students, staff and parents/carers in matters of faith and conduct

The Role

Leadership role Position of Responsibility (Po R) 2 Head of Faculty
This is a permanent full-time position Monday – Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm commencing Thursday 15 January 2026
Position is in accordance with the NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff MEA

Specific Criteria

Ability to teach Visual Arts
Promote student performances in Music and Drama and exhibitions in Visual Arts

Full CV to demonstrate suitability for the position, including qualifications, relevant experience, current position responsibilities and employment history
Certified copies of qualifications
Current Working With Children Check or an ability to obtain such a check
Evidence of First Aid credential (HLTAID011) or a commitment to obtain credential by the commencement date

Selection process

Shortlisted candidates will be informed by 26 September 2025
Interviews are set for 16 October 2025 from 9.00am.
Candidates must be available in person for the scheduled interviews.
