Overview

Toongabbie Christian College, located in the western suburbs of Sydney, is seeking a Head of Faculty Creative and Performing Arts to lead and guide the teaching and learning of Visual Arts, Music and Drama in Years 7-12.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and guide the teaching and learning of Visual Arts, Music and Drama in Years 7-12.
  • Foster a creative and dynamic learning environment; develop curriculum and delivery with a clear vision; improve student outcomes.
  • Lead and develop the faculty team, build a strong team culture, and work effectively both independently and in teams.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Leadership role Position of Responsibility (PoR) 2 Head of Faculty
  • In accordance with the NSW Christian Schools Teaching Staff MEA
  • Ability to teach Visual Arts and promote student performances in Music, Drama and exhibitions in Visual Arts
  • Completed and signed Toongabbie Christian College Teaching Staff Employment Application Form (available at www.tcc.nsw.edu.au)
  • Current CV with qualifications, relevant experience, and employment history
  • Certified copies of qualifications
  • Valid Working with Children Check or commitment to obtaining one
  • Evidence of a First Aid credential (HLTAID011) or intention to acquire it by the start date
