About the business/role/team
This role sits within the IT Service Management Platform team, reporting to the Development Lead. You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across one of our large transformation programs. You will work closely with program stakeholders and business analysts to deliver outcomes for the program.
About the role
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions to support privileged access workflows.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, and test plans.
- Support integration efforts between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems as required.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
- Work closely with the BAU team to ensure seamless handover and support where needed.
About you
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise environments.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Glide scripting and Flow designer.
- Experience with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalogue).
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and data model.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification preferred, ITIL 4 highly desirable.
- Experience with privileged access management processes (desirable).
