About the role:
The Manager, Cabinet and Parliament is responsible for providing effective support to Ministers and the department in relation to Cabinet decision-making, parliamentary questions, and other briefings and correspondence processes. You will lead a small team to ensure that Victorian Government requirements for engaging with Cabinet and parliament are disseminated across the department, and that appropriate standards of quality and timeliness are maintained. The team is also responsible for coordinating parliamentary questions, and stewards the department's ministerial briefings and correspondence processes on behalf of the Secretary.

About you:
- Ability to demonstrate effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, such as the Secretary's and Ministers' offices, policy teams, and executives from across the department.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of integrity, strong people and coordination skills, and an ability to collaborate and resolve problems constructively.
- A tertiary qualification in a field related to politics, government, or public administration is desirable.
- Sound knowledge and experience of government decision-making processes, and the roles of Cabinet and parliament.
