Cabinet And Parliament Program Advisor

The Department of Education Cabinet and Parliament Unit is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual for a VPS4 Cabinet and Parliament Program Advisor role, offering a unique opportunity to strengthen stakeholder management skills and develop an understanding of government decision-making processes.

This role provides a firsthand experience of how decision making in government works, with the support of a collaborative team. As a Program Advisor, you will work closely with our Secretary and Ministers to facilitate Cabinet and Parliament processes across the Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support and advice to facilitate Cabinet and Parliament processes
  • Developing effective stakeholder relationships
  • Managing communications and maintaining records

We are looking for someone who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities. If you have a strong administrative or policy background and are eager to take on new challenges, we would like to hear from you.
