Aegis Management Support Groupis a friendly and dynamic small business that conducts Investigations, Assessments and Settlements for insurance companies within Western Australia.

The Role:

We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Home Claims Consultant for a permanent part-time position Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.00pm (30hrs per week) working from our office located in Belmont.  This role is responsible for handling and settling home insurance claims. Additional full time hours will be required to cover holiday and sick leave, as well as periods of high work flow when necessary. Full time hours may be considered for the right applicant if required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage a portfolio of claims from lodgement to finalisation within allocated timeframes.
  • Provide timely and effective responses to customer enquiries.
  • Providing excellent level of customer service.
  • Professional written correspondence, from emails to insureds, report to insurers and authorities sent to suppliers.

Required skills:

  • Minimum 1 years Insurance experience would be ideal.
  • Intermediate skills in using Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel.
  • Previous experience with customer service and providing administration support.
  • Great organizational skills, a keen eye for detail and a focus on high quality.
  • The ability to show initiative and to manage competing priorities to meet critical client and company deadlines.
  • Motivated approach and able to use own initiative.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a small team.

As the successful applicant you will be reliable, possess excellent telephone skills, good computer skills, be well presented and have the desire to be part of an enthusiastic and friendly environment.  You will receive ongoing training, coaching and mentoring to enhance your skills, and free onsite parking.
