As our Remote Control Mower Specialist, you'll manage all sales and customer care in Australia.

You'll handle semi-qualified leads, nurture them to closure, and proactively pursue new business through cold calls and visits. You'll demonstrate remote control mowers to customers often on-site, requiring regular travel and hands-on work.

You'll deliver sold machines, provide operator training and handovers, and maintain ongoing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify future sales opportunities. You'll also support workshops with after-sales service, customer care, and on-site repairs as needed.

TASKS INCLUDED:

  • Respond to semi-qualified enquiries via phone, email, direct message etc, provide accurate information and recommendations.
  • Dedicated 1 day per week to proactively pursue new business.
  • Provide quotations to qualified leads.
  • Follow up qualified leads until closed status, either sales won or lost.
  • Demonstrate a machine at the customer's property or a convenient meeting place.
  • Deliver sold machines to customer and provide operator training, maintenance instructions and equipment handover.
  • Work with the Sales Manager/Coordinator to identify and establish sales opportunities in key target areas or customer groups.
  • Assist with procurement forecasting.
  • Assist the SME marketing department with up-to-date relevant product and industry information and contact.

SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Represent the company in a consistent and professional way, with honesty and integrity, in line with the values set out by the directors of the company.
  • Good verbal and written communications.
  • Be able to present with confidence to medium sized audiences
  • Be a self-starter, self-motivation and ability to run your calendar.
  • Perform all tasks and treat all customers like your own business.
  • The confidence and ability to ask for large orders of up to $200,000 in value.
  • Have a general understanding of machinery and a comprehensive understanding of all Green Climber products.
  • Ability to study competitive products and establish advantages to sell our brand over each competitor.
  • Ability to positively handle objections.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be effective with time management – the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Be able to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Be able to work both with a team and individually.
  • Maintaining budgetary guidelines.
  • Diligently complete all reports on time.
  • Able to drive long distances with a heavy load safely and stay away from home for 2 – 3 nights fortnightly if required.
  • Able to hike in challenging terrain including walking long distances in steep terrain (on demos).
  • Physically able to load machinery onto vehicles and secure loads safely.
  • Willing to assist with infield service/breakdown work as required.
  • IT literate
  • Have basic mechanical understanding
  • Willing to consider all R&D options for customers as required.
  • Preferably located withing 30mins of SME's Capalaba office.
  • Willing to work a 45 hour week, be flexible for travel after hours
