Currently, we are delighted to confirm that we are supporting Ratio Consultants in their search for civil design professionals, to be based in their Cremorne HQ.

We are actively seeking applications from passionate and proven Civil Design Drafters or Civil Designers to join a new and thriving Civil Engineering team.

The organisation

Ratio is an independent voice and a trusted partner in planning, urban design, transport, waste management, landscape architecture and civil engineering.

With an established presence across three states, and over 100 employees, Ratio are at an exciting and important phase in their journey.

The role

This process looks to secure an experience drafter/designer, who has a proven and lengthy track record within a similar consulting environment.

As the new team member, you will be required to:

  • Contribute to the production and design of civil components across new communities, municipal, and significant infrastructure projects. Including, drainage, earthworks, roads, roundabouts, streetscapes and urban infrastructure elements.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time in collaboration with the civil engineers.
  • Contribute to technical reports when required
  • Contribute to civil engineering projects, provide registered engineer certification and ensure compliance with local and national engineering standards and building codes.

About you

As a Civil Design Drafter or Designer, you will possess the following

  • Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related)
  • 2-year minimum years of professional experience in civil engineering with a focus on built environment, development and infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in Civil3D & AutoCAD
  • Advanced technical documentation and drawing skills, including a 3D environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • A passion for people and innovation
