Details: We're looking for a skilled and strategic Marketing Manager to join the Suburban Land Agency (SLA) Marketing team within the Thriving Communities branch. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that will see you leading the delivery of high-impact marketing strategies and campaigns that support the release of new developments, elevate the corporate brand, and connect with diverse audiences across Canberra.

The ideal candidate is a confident and collaborative marketing professional with strong project management skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for delivering creative, integrated campaigns. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, mentoring junior staff, and working closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and our creative agency. Experience in government or property marketing is highly desirable, as is the ability to bring both strategic thinking and creative execution to the table.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Highly Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the government, property, or development sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans and integrated campaigns across a range of platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing briefs, reports, and marketing collateral.
  • Proven project management skills, including budget management and coordination with multiple stakeholders and suppliers.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Current Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance if required.
  • Availability to occasionally work outside standard hours to support events or activations.
  • Willingness to work from the office and attend site-based meetings as required.
  • A current driver's licence (desirable but not mandatory).

Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
