About The Role
Join our team as a Brand and Graphic Designer As part of a full-service inhouse Communication, Engagement and Media team you'll create engaging visual content for multiple brands across print and digital platforms to inform and connect with the Tweed community.
This role coordinates Council brands and publication design, e-newsletters and printing to bring complex ideas to life through clear, creative communication. It supervises a graphic design apprentice and oversees our digital asset management system, graphic design workflows and quality control processes. We are seeking:
- Proven experience in graphic design and publication production across print and digital platforms.
- Strong ability to visually communicate complex ideas in a clear, creative way in multiple formats and mediums.
- Advanced technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Excellent attention to detail with copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with a commitment to brand standards, consistency, and accessibility best practices.

Desirable Criteria
Tertiary qualifications in graphic design, digital/new media, visual communications or similar. Please advise us if you have any qualifications or certifications that would support this application.
