About the Opportunity:

Are you a motivated and ambitious Nuclear Medicine Scientist looking to expand your skillset within a reputable organisation? Qscan in Maroochydore has an exciting opportunity for you

Our Maroochydore clinic has been designed around our purpose-built PET/CT department. You'll be working with state-of-the-art equipment, including the Siemens Biograph MCT scanner and Bayer Intego PET infusion system, ensuring high-quality imaging.

In addition to being part of a beautiful Sunshine Coast community, we offer a Full-Time permanent position with daytime hours from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• First and foremost, provide compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality.
• Perform a range of /PET/CT procedures, to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.
• Interpret requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.
• Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances.

About You:

Alongside your passion for patient-centred care and Nuclear Medicine Scientist qualifications, you will also have: 

• Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
• High attention to detail.
• A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one).
• AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Full working rights in Australia.
