The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Fellow (Interventional Neuroradiology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Undertake comprehensive specialised fellowship training in Interventional Neuroradiology
- Assist with registrar teaching/training
- Provide education on Interventional Neuroradiology through training seminars and tutorials to medical staff
- Participate in clinical audit and research, including result analysis
- Participate in the preparation and presentation of imaging and clinical meetings
About you
**To be successful in this position you will require**:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- AHPRA Registration
- Successful completion of Part II Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) exams, Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) exams or equivalent and completion of all necessary registrars training
- Hold or eligible to hold an appropriate Radiation Use Licence
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed

Salary
- Temporary full time (12 months)
- Base salary ranging from $154 760 - $164 569 per annum
About Us
Medical Imaging delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the GCHHS. The service provides a Level 6 Medical Imaging service at Southport Gold Coast University Hospital and a Level 4 service at Robina.
The Level 6 service at Southport provides a wide range of imaging services and complex, on-site interventional and neuro-interventional procedures, Nuclear Medicine, Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services on-site.
