About Us
Are you passionate about building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality services? We are currently assisting our client in recruiting a Japanese Speaking Client Service Representative to join their Sydney-based team, supporting commercial insurance operations across the Oceania region.
This role is responsible for strengthening relationships with commercial clients—primarily Japanese businesses and eventually local client base. You'll act as a strategic business partner, supporting sales, profitability, and growth targets, while also assisting senior management with business operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Promote company products and services through networking and client engagement.
- Provide technical product expertise and underwriting advice.
- Assess risks and prepare quotes for new and existing clients.
- Monitor premium payments and liaise with internal teams to ensure compliance.
- Support strategic planning, KPI analysis, and budget coordination.
- Respond to inquiries from head office and maintain customer-related systems.
Your Profile
- Experience in the insurance industry preferred but not a must
- Previous experience in sales, account managment and/or customer service OR keen to pursue a career in sales
- Strong communication skills, including fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) -JLPT N1 or N2 holders are welcome to apply
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
