We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Test Technician for operations in Perth, Western Australia reporting to the Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) Supervisor.

Key responsibilities:

An electronics test technician is a skilled professional responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment and systems to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. Fault finding, recording and repairing electrical/electronic componentry.

  • Executing various performance, functional, and environmental tests on components, circuit boards (PCBs), and final products following technical manuals and test plans.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates meeting the following criteria. (Candidates with the required aptitude and enthusiasm should apply as comprehensive training will be given to the successful candidate).

Essential:

  • Technical Skills: Deep understanding of electrical circuits, components, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex technical issues. (Board level repairs)
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work to ensure accuracy when working with intricate components and analysing data.
  • Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using a range of electronic test and measurement equipment, including: Multimeters / Oscilloscopes / Signal generators / Power supplies / Soldering irons and desoldering tools / Various hand and power tools
