You'll join a skilled and collaborative team, working across a suite of technical solutions for industries that keep Australia moving.
About the Role This dynamic role blends technical sales, client solutions, quoting, team leadership, and strategic business development. You'll support and eventually lead the commercial function, developing your knowledge alongside experienced leaders and driving value for customers and the business alike.
You'll be working alongside the Sales Manager, General Manager, Management Accountant, and leaders from Teterin's sister companies Cirrus and Teterin Supply, gaining broad exposure across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Quoting: Understand client needs, provide tailored technical solutions, and develop competitive quotes.
- Customer Success: Manage existing accounts with care, ensuring excellent service and building lasting relationships.
- Growth & Strategy: Identify new business, explore market opportunities, and contribute to marketing initiatives.
- Leadership: Mentor and support internal job coordinators to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales activities, provide insights, and support business planning with data-driven decisions.
- Industry Engagement: Travel as needed to client sites, trade events, and industry functions.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in technical sales, ideally in engineering, machinery, or heavy industrial sectors.
- A Solid understanding of diesel engines, component reconditioning, or mechanical systems and parts sales would be desirable.
- Experience in quoting, estimating, and pricing for technical projects.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Leadership experience or a demonstrated ability to step into a leadership role.
- Ability
- CRM proficiency.
