About the role
As the Chief Financial Officer at BR International Logistics Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing all the financial operations and strategic direction of the company. This is a full-time position based in Hurstville, NSW. You will be a key member of the executive team and play a vital role in ensuring the long-term financial health and growth of the business.
What you'll be doing

Develop and implement effective financial strategies to support the company's overall business objectives

Oversee the preparation of all financial reports, budgets, and forecasts

Manage the company's accounting, taxation, treasury, and audit functions

Provide strategic financial advice to the executive team and Board of Directors

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and legislation

Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and reporting
What we're looking for

Qualified accountant with 5+ years of senior-level finance experience, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry

Proven track record of successfully leading and transforming finance functions within a complex, fast-paced environment

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insightful recommendations

Strong strategic thinking and business partnering skills, with the ability to translate financial information into actionable business insights

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences

Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing finance teams

Proficiency in using financial systems and data analysis tools

Must have experience with Cargo-wise and past experienxe with managing personnel
