The Opportunity

We're seeking skilled Diesel Fitters to join our Field Service Division on a 7/7 rotating roster.

You'll perform diagnostics, maintenance, and component change-outs on a range of CAT mining fleets, as well as Komatsu and Hitachi gear, across multiple Bowen Basin mine sites.

This role suits a tradesperson with a strong background in CAT equipment, capable of fault-finding, performing in-pit repairs, and working independently while upholding our clients' standards and working in alignment with Westhill's safety commitment.

What You'll Need
  • Trade qualification: Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic
  • Proven CAT equipment experience – diagnostics, component rebuilds, and scheduled maintenance
  • Exposure to Komatsu or Hitachi machinery highly regarded
  • Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
  • A safety-driven mindset and professional attitude
  • Current driver's licence
