Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Diagnose, service, and repair heavy diesel machinery and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and attend to breakdowns
  • Ensure all tasks are completed safely and to high-quality standards
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to meet job deadlines and customer expectations

Our ideal team member looks like:

  • 3+ years of experience as an Auto Electrician or Diesel Fitter
  • Strong expertise in heavy machinery, diesel engines, and related systems
  • Experience working on mine sites (highly regarded)
  • Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or Diesel Fitting / Mobile Plant Technology)
  • Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work in both workshop and mine site environments
  • Full Australian working rights (essential)
