We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Visy Dior Hotel, Norwest. This full-time role is pivotal in managing the financial health of the property, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and hotel management agreements, while partnering with operational leaders to maximise profitability and performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Oversee the hotel's full finance function including accounting, reporting, payroll, and compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls, safeguarding hotel assets.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, while providing financial guidance to operational managers.
  • Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to optimise revenue, control costs, and improve performance.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation, payroll, superannuation, and Fair Work legislation.
  • Prepare management and ownership reports in line with Hotel Management Agreements.

ABOUT YOU:

  • CA or CPA qualified accountant.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in hospitality finance at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising or managing a team.
  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles, payroll, and compliance.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
