Catering HQ is looking for a proactive and dynamic Restaurant Manager to join our talented and dedicated team at Altona RSL. We provide great opportunities and career progression.

THE BRAND

Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 14 fabulous venues across Sydney and Victoria. We believe in striving for excellence at all times and pride ourselves on having an experienced and dedicated team who love their work and their work environment. At Catering HQ we are always looking to adapt to evolving market trends for our restaurants, cafés and events. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, interesting and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high quality meals and exceptional customer service.

THE ROLE

  • Communicate with co-workers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
  • Work with co-workers and management to effectively implement necessary change
  • Understand and anticipate customer needs and aim to exceed these requirements
  • Ensure the effective execution of business operations
  • Motivate and assist the team to provide quality products with exceptional customer service
  • Engage and maintain customer relationships, taking on feedback when received

KEY QUALITIES

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience a similar role
  • Excellent supportive and leadership skill set
  • Exposure to rostering and people development
  • Have a strong customer service focus
  • Professional, upbeat and friendly personality
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Positive and flexible attitude
  • Highest level of presentation and grooming standards
  • Fantastic people management skills and professional nature
  • Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn
  • Honest and results focused - able to give and receive genuine feedback and take action as needed
  • Innovative - proven experience of genuinely implementing new ideas
