Catering HQ is looking for a proactive and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to join our talented and dedicated team at Altona RSL. We provide great opportunities and career progression.

Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 14 fabulous venues across Sydney and Victoria. At Catering HQ we are always looking to adapt to evolving market trends for our restaurants, cafés and events. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, interesting and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high quality meals and exceptional customer service.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicate with co-workers and management to solve problems and improve quality and service
  • Assist in the opening and/or closing of the catering department as per the company checklist guidelines.
  • Initiate dialogue and develop rapport with customers by learning their names, favourite drinks and food items
  • Understand and anticipate customer needs and aim to exceed these requirements
  • Training new employees and motivating them in their role
  • Assist in reaching business goals and objectives as set out by management

KEY QUALITIES

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent supportive and leadership skill set
  • Exposure to rostering and people development
  • Have a strong customer service focus
  • Professional, upbeat and friendly personality
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Positive and flexible attitude
  • Highest level of presentation and grooming standards
  • Fantastic people management skills and professional nature
  • Confidence to take charge and own the result, yet humble enough to listen and learn
