**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Management**: Oversee the daily operations of the café, ensuring efficient service, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and health standards.
- **Team Leadership**: Hire, train, and motivate a team of baristas, servers, and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service and high-quality products. Foster a positive and productive team environment.
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Create a warm and welcoming environment for customers, addressing concerns and resolving issues to ensure a top-tier customer experience.
- **Inventory & Ordering**: Manage inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies to meet café demand. Maintain control over stock and minimize waste.
- **Financial Management**: Monitor sales, manage budgets, and control costs to meet financial goals. Implement strategies to increase profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with the kitchen and barista teams to develop and update the menu, keeping it aligned with customer preferences and current trends.
- **Marketing & Promotion**: Develop and implement strategies to promote the café, including local events, social media campaigns, and partnerships to attract new customers.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Ensure that the café complies with all food safety regulations and health codes. Maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in café or restaurant management, with a proven track record of successfully managing a team and running day-to-day operations.
- **Leadership**: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team, set expectations, and build a positive work culture.
- **Customer-Focused**: A passion for providing excellent customer service, with the ability to resolve customer complaints effectively and professionally.
- **Financial Acumen**: Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management in a café or restaurant setting.
- **Team Development**: Experience in recruiting, training, and developing staff to their full potential.
- **Organizational Skills**: Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- **Coffee & Culinary Knowledge**: A deep understanding of coffee, espresso beverages, and café menu items. Barista experience or culinary background is a plus.
- **Tech Savvy**: Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management tools, and scheduling software.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- A formal degree or certification in hospitality, business management, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience with social media marketing or café promotions.
- Knowledge of local food trends and customer preferences.
