Destec is a proudly Western Australian owned and operated company with a fast-growing client base that provides ore processing and materials handling services to the mining industry across Western Australia. We take pride in innovation through designing, constructing, building, maintaining and operating our own crushing and screening plants for Tier 1 mining sites.

About The Role
This role is based in our new Bibra Lake office, and is primarily responsible for processing all supplier and overhead invoices whilst cultivating and sustaining relationships with external and internal stakeholders. This role is also responsible for supporting management and working cooperatively with the finance team.

Core Responsibilities

  • End to end supplier account processing and reconciliations of corporate credit cards, bank accounts and end of month.
  • Timely and accurate processing of the payment of supplier invoices.
  • Liaising with suppliers and our purchasing department.
  • Researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Undertaking document control for accounts payable and general administration.
  • Reception duties.
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects.

We are seeking someone who can contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems and processes, and in return we will provide the successful candidate with room to develop and grow

About You
Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in accounts payable, with great skills in Excel and Word. Your attention to detail and accuracy will be a credit to you, including excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

The successful candidate will have strong verbal and written English language skills, and able to deliver great customer service to our clients and external stakeholders. This is a busy role, and your ability to manage your time and prioritise your work will be key to your success.

Experience using Oracle Netsuite is highly desirable but not essential.
