Dynamic NFP organisation ideally suited to an experienced AP Officer looking for work-life balance
**Your new company**
You will be joining a large NFP organisation in Sydney Olympic Park, involved in community-based charity projects, mentoring and even sporting events.
**Your new role**
You will be working in a small finance team of 4 people, taking responsibility for the end to end accounts payable function, with an outreach across the organisation in a pivotal role. You will report into the Finance Manager and will be working closely with the Assistant Accountant and Payroll Officer to assist with month end supplier reconciliations. You will take responsibility for the following:
- Accounts Payable processing in MS Dynamics
- Payment of invoices
- Vendor set up
- Bank and supplier reconciliations
- Answering queries and problem-solving regarding invoicing
- Contribute to the continual improvement processes
- Process refunds and troubleshoot queries
- Independently complete tasks to deadlines
- Proactively assist across wider finance team with tasks and being a team player
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders expertly
**What you'll need to succeed**
You'll be an experienced Accounts Payable Officer and have exceptional communication skills. You will have a keen eye for detail and have demonstrated your ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly. You will have worked in a dynamic environment and be confident to manage varying priorities, proactively helping the team and being hands-on. A sound knowledge of debits and credits, manual processing and use of Excel will be highly advantageous. Experience using a large ERP system such as MS Dynamics would be well regarded.
