About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join the skilled team at North Haven Mechanical. As a full-time Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a range of light vehicles, ensuring they are safe, reliable and operating at peak performance. The position is based in North Haven, NSW 2443.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose, service and repair a variety of light vehicles including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles
  2. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to the highest standards
  3. Test and inspect vehicle components and systems to identify faults.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with clients
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation
  6. Ensure all work is completed in a timely, cost-effective and safe manner

What we're looking for

  1. A light vehicle trade qualification automotive motor mechanic.
  2. Preferred but not a must two years' post trade experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic in an automative workshop environment.
  3. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality work
  5. Good communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service
  6. A valid driver's licence and your own tools
