About the Opportunity 

Are you passionate about golf, hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences? RACV Royal Pines is seeking a Golf & Sports Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our golf team.

Reporting to the Golf & Sports Operations Manager, you will be an active 'hands on' team leader, displaying a passion for golf and hospitality to deliver great customer service. Your key responsibilities include:

• Foster a positive team environment, to lead, train and motivate the golf team
• Lead by example with a commitment to excellence in guest services
• Support daily operations, improvements and assist to organise golf events
• Maintain equipment, oversee hire and stock checks
• Deliver consistent, courteous service and build trusted member relationships
• Drive golf carts on property and maintain a clean, presentable and safe work environment

What you'll need to be successful

• Availability and flexibility to work a weekly rotating roster between 5am-7pm, including weekends & public holidays
• Understanding of a golf course environment with a knowledge of golf course operations, equipment, rules & etiquette
• Effective leadership experience in a customer facing environment
• Valid Drivers Licence, essential
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, essential
• Competent computer skills in Microsoft Office, MiClub, POS, EFTPOS 
• Clear communication & interpersonal skills 
• Effective operational and organisational skills
• Work well in a team environment 
• Ability to perform physical duties and present with excellent grooming & personal presentation
