About the role

As a Gaming Attendant at the Malvernvale Hotel, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the gaming floor. This full-time or part-time role within our Hospitality & Tourism, Gaming business is based in Malvern VIC 3144.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting customers with gaming machine operations and responding to customer inquiries
  • Conducting regular checks and maintenance of gaming machines to ensure proper functionality
  • Adhering to all relevant gaming regulations and internal policies
  • Maintaining a clean and organised gaming floor environment
  • Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive gaming experience for all patrons
  • Accurately handling cash and performing gaming-related financial transactions
  • Collaborating with the broader hotel team to ensure seamless operations

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service or gaming attendant role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a welcoming and engaging experience for guests
  • Familiarity with gaming machine operations and relevant gaming regulations
  • Excellent cash handling and financial transaction skills
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
