About the role

Interpod Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Berkeley Vale, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing company at the forefront of the modular construction industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Perform welding tasks on steel frames and components
  2. Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure accurate and compliant welding
  3. Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets
  4. Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards
  5. Maintain a clean and organised work area
  6. Continuously improve welding processes and techniques to enhance productivity
  7. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Welder, ideally in the construction or manufacturing industry
  2. Minimum 3-5 years of welding experience required
  3. Extensive knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG
  4. Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding techniques required
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  7. Proficient in the use of welding equipment and tools
  8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  9. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  10. Relevant trade qualifications or certifications, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
  11. Valid Australian work visa or work rights required
