We are currently seeking a motivated and capable Structural Engineer with at least 2 years of local experience to join our growing team. This is a hands-on design role involving a mix of office-based engineering, documentation, and on-site work.

About the Role

This is a hybrid position based out of our Mount Pleasant office, with flexibility to work from home. You will work directly under the Principal Engineer and be involved in all stages of design and delivery for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Structural design and documentation of residential and commercial structures
  • Structural modelling and calculations using SpaceGass, Inducta, and Structural Toolkit
  • AutoCAD drafting and markups (as required)
  • Site investigations and construction support
  • Liaison with clients, architects, and contractors
  • Representing the business in project meetings and technical discussions

You will be supported closely in your development and expected to take ownership of your work across multiple projects.

What We're Looking For
  • 2–5 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 2 years in Western Australia
  • Proficiency in SpaceGass, Inducta, Structural Toolkit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable on site, able to perform inspections and identify engineering issues
  • Motivated to grow technically and professionally
  • On track toward chartered status with Engineers Australia (support provided)
About the Team

We're a small, technically focused team of four. You will report directly to the Principal Engineer and work alongside drafting staff. While the team operates flexibly with working-from-home options, you will also be expected to work from our Mount Pleasant office regularly and attend project sites across the Perth metro area.
