These include roads, rail, water infrastructure, land development, and building-related civil works. Experience in civil design—particularly for defence and infrastructure projects—is highly desirable.As part of the Civil Engineering discipline group, your responsibilities will include:* Delivering engineering design, calculations, technical specifications, and reports.* Leading and managing design teams to meet technical, quality, and delivery standards.* Planning and executing engineering tasks across concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.* Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams locally and nationally to deliver project outcomes.* Engaging with project managers, design managers, and clients to provide updates and prepare well-structured proposals and documentation.* Reviewing designs to ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, and project requirements.* Mentoring junior engineers and supporting the development of the discipline group.* Assisting in the preparation of bids and tender submissions.This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering strategic infrastructure while developing your career within a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking team.**As the ideal applicant you will have:*** A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)* CPEng preferred* Experience working within an engineering consulting environment* Experience working in a broad range of infrastructure projects within a multi-disciplinary environment* Previous experience in Civil Infrastructure for projects in one or more of the defence,building civil and transport sectors is essential in the role* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Familiarity with relevant standards and design guidelines to the civil engineering discipline* The ability to obtain chartership within a reasonable agreed time frame* A Practical knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety* Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a defence security clearanceWe are committed to social and environmental sustainability and delivering projects with a digital mindset that drives innovation within our business, for our customers and stakeholders.Our people blend seamlessly into customer teams to help create a positive impact on the communities and environments they seek to improve.
