What You Will Do & What You Will Bring

As a
Senior System Engineer
, you will:

• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional systems engineering teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
• Consult with internal and external clients to understand program goals, translating their needs into technical solutions and project strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to design, develop, and deliver innovative product solutions, with a focus on medical devices and instruments.
• Oversee Systems Engineering activities such as Requirements Management, Systems Performance, Technical Risk, Integration, Verification, and Manufacturing Transfer.
• Drive continuous improvement across systems engineering processes and methodologies, aligning with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
• Support strategic program development by contributing to bid proposals, resourcing plans, and workload forecasting.
• Mentor and coach team members, developing systems engineering capability within the group and fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.

In addition, we require the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, ideally within medical device or instrument product development (consulting experience a plus)
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
• Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams across mechanical, electronic, and software disciplines
• Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and Agile product development methodologies
• Experience with regulatory standards including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, and GMP
• Familiarity with technical risk management standards such as ISO 14971 and IEC 60812
• Proficiency with tools like JAMA (requirements management) and JIRA (collaboration)
• Proven track record in structured problem-solving, integration strategies, and systems testing
• Ability to drive clarity in ambiguous situations and work effectively across cross-functional teams
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills
