Technical Ad Specialist – Remote (Melbourne-based)

My client is a fast growing digital marketing agency helping service based businesses scale from six to seven figures through smart strategy, strong data foundations and technical excellence. They focus on what truly matters such as results, conversions and client growth, not vanity metrics.

They are now looking for a
Technical Ad Specialist
who understands the technical side of digital advertising and enjoys working directly with clients. You will play a key role in both implementing systems and training business owners and marketing teams to understand and manage their ad performance with confidence.

The Role

You will be the bridge between the technical setup and client success. Confident on video calls and in workshops, you will guide clients through how their tracking and automation systems work, troubleshoot issues live and ensure they have the clarity they need to make better marketing decisions.

Day to day, you will


• Set up and maintain conversion tracking across
Meta Business Suite
,
Google Ads
and
GA4


• Configure
server side tracking (CAPI, enhanced conversions)
using
Google Tag Manager


• Build and manage automations in
GoHighLevel
and
Zapier


• Run client sessions, explaining data flows, tracking setups and optimisation steps


• Troubleshoot attribution or lead flow issues and walk clients through solutions


• Create clear documentation and video guides for recurring client training needs


• Support live calls and workshops, ensuring clients leave feeling confident and supported

About You


• 2 to 3 years of experience in digital marketing, ad operations or automation


• Strong working knowledge of
GA4
,
GTM
,
Meta Business Suite
and
Google Ads


• Hands on experience with
GoHighLevel
and
Zapier
or similar tools


• Confident communicator who enjoys presenting and teaching technical topics


• Able to translate complex concepts into practical, client friendly explanations


• Detail oriented and solutions driven, with a genuine desire to help others succeed


• Comfortable working remotely and managing client relationships virtually
