The opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on QA Manager to lead our Quality Assurance and Food Safety program. This is a pivotal role where you will ensure every product that leaves our site meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. You'll collaborate across the business, champion a proactive quality culture, and drive continuous improvement.

What you'll do

  • Lead and maintain our Food Safety & Quality Management System (ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, Food Standards Code).
  • Prepare for and lead audits, manage supplier approvals, and oversee compliance.
  • Monitor quality across raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
  • Maintain up-to-date quality documentation, SOPs, and recall programs.
  • Partner with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
  • Train and support teams to embed a quality-first mindset.
  • Analyse trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

What we're looking for

  • Qualifications in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Management, or similar.
  • Significant QA experience in food manufacturing, ideally with leadership exposure.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP and food safety compliance.
  • Experience with audits, regulatory compliance, and corrective actions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across teams.
  • Proactive, resilient, and passionate about continuous improvement.
