About The Role
This position works in Physiotherapy Department, West Moreton Health. The purpose of this role is to deliver specialised physiotherapy clinical services and leadership across Inpatient Rehabilitation. This role is responsible for the management of a medium sized physiotherapy team. This position is the reference point for others across West Moreton Health.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Contemporary specialist-level knowledge and skills in physiotherapy services within inpatient rehabilitation.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment and senior management to influence a clinical or service outcome.
- Ability to independently manage highly complex clinical caseloads.
- Ability to lead quality and service improvement activities that result in improved outcomes for patients/customers and/or the organisation.
Mandatory Requirements
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of a tertiary degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
