As a Fire Protection Team Lead, you will lead the design and delivery of building services projects across a range of sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, and residential. You'll take ownership of project outcomes, provide strategic technical guidance, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.

Beyond projects, you'll play a central role in mentoring and developing junior engineers, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the strategic growth of the Melbourne Fire Protection team. About You

  • You bring 10+ years' experience in fire protection design within building services, with a proven track record leading projects and teams.
  • You have deep technical expertise in fire systems including wet and dry fire, detection and alarm, and smoke hazard management.
  • You've successfully delivered medium-to-large scale projects across sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, data centres, or residential.
  • You're passionate about mentoring and developing others, with experience in team leadership or people management.
  • You're known for your client-facing skills, ability to build trust, and commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • You hold a relevant tertiary qualification and are registered (or eligible for registration) as a professional engineer in VIC
