Liverpool Girls High School is a comprehensive girls' high school with an enrolment of approximately 720 students serving a diverse area of South West Sydney. The school is proud of its multicultural background with over 89% of students coming from a language background other than English. The school has its main focus on improving student learning outcomes through personalised learning experiences that engage, empower and enable its students to thrive and achieve their potential. High quality teaching practices are supported through whole-school, and targeted, professional learning focused on improving student learning outcomes. There is a strong focus on innovative, authentic teaching and learning experiences that prepare students for the world beyond school. In 2028, the school will be merging with Liverpool Boys High School to form a new, co-educational high school.

- Proven ability to lead culturally responsive pedagogy in a diverse school context for improved student engagement
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality professional learning to improve teacher capacity and classroom practice for improved learning outcomes
- Capacity to lead faculty and whole school differentiation of the curriculum, promoting engagement and learning through personalised learning and support plans, and literacy and numeracy programs
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of the Executive team to effectively initiate, lead and monitor the implementation of the school's whole school initiatives, with a strong focus on equity and inclusion for improved learning outcomes for all students
- Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice 
- Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs 
- Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams 
- Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents 
- Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning 
- Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
