About the team

Our Housing Services and Systems Team provides high quality administrative and systems support, playing a crucial role in sustaining successful tenancies and ensuring smooth housing operations.

About this opportunity

As an Administration Officer, you will provide high-quality administration support.

In this role you will:

  • Be the welcoming first point of contact for phone, email, and walk-in enquiries, ensuring respectful and responsive support.
  • Provide vital admin support across housing programs, including data entry, correspondence, reporting, and team logistics.
  • Coordinate office operations—from calendars and filing systems to stock management and IT setup for new staff.
  • Support financial and compliance processes, including invoice processing, policy updates, and database maintenance.
  • Champion office safety and facilities, acting as WHS rep, First Aid Officer, and liaison for building and vehicle maintenance.

About You

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Relevant qualifications and /or demonstrated experience in office operations management and administration support
  • Familiarity with the community housing sector and homelessness issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with diverse communities
  • Proficient in MS Office and database systems
  • Excellent written, verbal, and digital literacy skills
