Role & responsibilities

  • Coordinating with clients, architects, and internal teams.
  • Coordination with different services and resolving technical issues
  • Design hydronic systems, including chilled water, heating water, and condenser water loops, performing pipe sizing, pump head calculations, and insulation specification.
  • Perform detailed heating and cooling load calculations using industry-standard software (e.g., HAP, Carrier E20) to determine system requirements.
  • Design and engineer air distribution systems, including duct sizing, layout planning, and static pressure calculations to optimize airflow and efficiency.
  • Select and specify mechanical equipment, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), chillers, pumps, fans, and heat exchangers, based on project requirements and performance data.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, HAP/Camel, Revit (preferred).
  • In-depth knowledge of ASHRAE standards, International Mechanical Codes (IMC), and other relevant codes.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC fundamentals and equipment selection

    Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer as they apply to chilled water systems
