
Human Resources Business Partner

Major Responsibilities Recruitment: Liaises with departments for recruitment of key positions in line with the group budget; maintains relationships with recruitment channels; prepares offers and onboarding arrangements; manages key recruitment projects such as store openings and internships.
Onboarding, Training & Development: Onboards new hires; collaborates with business and regional HR training teams to identify training needs; develops and delivers management trainings and development programs; nominates employees for corporate and regional training; equips managers with tools to manage people in line with plans and budget; coaches managers in HR practices; uses HR data to support decisions and strategy.
Compensation & Benefits: Supports annual salary review, salary surveys and benchmarking; reviews and manages pay elements to maintain equity; advises on compensation philosophy; ensures payroll and staff benefits execution in line with audit requirements; manages HR policies and procedures and identifies gaps for policy development.
Employee Relations: Partners with management on HR issues; provides tools and guidance to managers; monitors and manages employee relations issues; gathers employee feedback and facilitates communication between management and staff; supports team-building and engagement initiatives; maintains relationships with regional HR team.
Talent Management: Coordinates performance and development review processes; identifies high-potential employees and coordinates development or career plans; leads rollout of annual performance reviews.
Reports & Ad Hoc Projects: Collects and consolidates HR reports for planning; coordinates corporate HR projects (e.g., stock option projects, new business setup, productivity benchmarks); leads employee engagement initiatives.
HR Compliance: Applies knowledge of employment laws; collaborates with Internal Control to support audit and compliance; participates in enterprise agreement reconciliation where applicable.
Skills And Knowledge Strong verbal and written communication; ability to liaise with staff and managers at all levels.
Influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities; analytical and organizational skills.
Knowledge of employment legislation, payroll, and market practices; HRIS proficiency; intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Personal Attributes Empathetic, kind and authentic; structured with strong organizational skills.
Effective communicator; collaborative team player; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines; able to work independently and use initiative; discretion.
Requirements & Capabilities Degree in Human Resources or related field.
Minimum 8 years of generalist HR experience.
Experience in luxury retail.
Experience developing and delivering training/program facilitation.
Good knowledge of employment legislation and market practices; ability to apply appropriately.
Willingness to interstate and international travel; support for Sydney Office, Melbourne store and other states as required.
