About the Role
As our Cost Control Manager, you will:
Lead cost planning and management across multiple projects, ensuring financial efficiency and value creation.
Provide strategic cost advice to internal stakeholders, influencing key decisions from acquisition to completion.
Collaborate with builders and consultants to optimise budgets, negotiate contracts, and manage risks.
Oversee cost estimates, feasibility studies, and tendering processes to ensure alignment with financial targets.
Drive value management initiatives, integrating cost-effective solutions into project designs.
Ensure cost control processes are robust, transparent, and commercially successful.
What We're Looking For years of experience in cost management, quantity surveying, or a related role.
Associate-level experience, at minimum Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS).
AIQS or RICS membership (preferred).
Strong expertise in Design & Construct (D&C) contracts and construction cost planning.
Experience in a client-side role, managing builders and consultants.
Ability to work autonomously, driving processes and influencing commercial outcomes.
Understanding of sustainability and decarbonisation in construction (preferred).
Experience with mid-rise residential or retirement living projects (desirable).
