As the Head of Product you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for the end-to-end management, strategy, development and optimisation of all BNK products and distribution channels. You will ensure BNK's retail and commercial product suite—covering lending, deposits, transactional accounts and potential new product offerings remain competitive, customer/broker-centric and compliant with regulatory requirements. You will also have accountability for leading the product lifecycle from design to delivery and performance, while also driving innovation across digital and physical channels to enhance customer experience, profitability, and growth.
What you will bring
Minimum of 10 years' experience in banking or financial services with senior leadership experience in product management.
Deep knowledge of Australian retail and commercial banking products
Strong track record in product innovation, design, development and lifecycle management
Experience in managing DDO compliance, including TMD development, product governance, and distributor oversight
Excellent commercial acumen with P&L responsibility.
Tertiary Qualifications in either Finance, Economics, Law or other relevant discipline (desirable)
Key Responsibilities
Delivery of BNK's product strategy across retail and commercial lending, deposits, transactional accounts and new product initiatives.
Leading the design, development, pricing and positioning of products aligned with customer needs and market opportunities.
Driving innovation through new product features, digital capabilities and strategic partnerships.
Owning product performance metrics and analytics to support product enhancement, ROI, profitability and contribution to business growth
Managing BNK's obligations and compliance under the Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO) framework.
Leading the strategy, development, and management of BNK's distribution channels, including broker, direct, partnerships, and digital platforms.
Building deep relationships with key broker groups and aggregator partners to increase distribution scale and market penetration.
