We're looking for an Associate Client Director (ACD) to lead the strategy, delivery, and growth of integrated social, influencer, and digital communications programs. This senior role is your chance to shape bold, data-driven campaigns for some of the world's most influential brands — and set the benchmark for innovation in Australia's communications industry.
As an ACD, you'll provide strategic counsel to senior clients, manage major accounts, and drive measurable impact across digital ecosystems. You'll bring deep expertise in social strategy, influencer marketing, and digital storytelling , alongside strong commercial judgment and a track record of client leadership.

Responsibilities Lead and grow senior client relationships across social, influencer, and digital.
Deliver high-quality, insight-driven campaigns on time and on budget.
Provide integrated counsel across paid, earned, shared, and owned channels.
Manage accounts, budgets, and forecasts with strong commercial oversight.
Drive organic growth and support new business opportunities.
Mentor and inspire teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Champion Edelman's values while building networks across media and industry.
Skills and Attributes At least 8+ years of relevant experience in communications marketing and/or related fields, with significant expertise in social media strategy, influencer marketing, and digital communications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills — active listening, cultural fluency, and the ability to 'read the room' with clients, creators, and colleagues.
Confidence in presenting and selling integrated social, influencer, and digital ideas, content strategies, and creative solutions.
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and engage the right internal and external specialists for campaign needs.
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple accounts and channels while maintaining high-quality delivery.
High emotional intelligence and cultural awareness, with a deep understanding of audience behaviours in the digital space.
Strong commercial judgment and ability to link creative ideas to measurable business outcomes.
Forward-thinking and adaptable, with a passion for staying ahead of platform innovations, creator economy trends, and emerging technologies.
Openness to constructive feedback and commitment to continuous professional growth.
In-depth understanding of industry specialty areas, digital ecosystems, and cross-channel integration.
