**The Role**
Undertake a range of tasks for 2nd Division which require a degree of judgment in the interpretation of rules, regulations, guidelines, procedures and policies in respect to administration and personnel matters.
Tasks may include:
- Understudy and support the SO3 Ops in management of Reserve Service Day (RSD) extensions and the coordination of RSD extension requirements IAW time lines required by SO2 Pers Ops.
- Enable and support Incident Management for HQ 2 DIV.
- Process Reserve Foreign Force Service Arrangement (RFFSA).
- Provide advice on Policy and Guidance to units on pers related matters.
- Provide Reserve Contract Management advice to Division.
- Maintenance of the RSD and SERVOP C Register.
- Assist in preparing presentations and collating data for AD HOC briefs.
**About our Team**
Located at Randwick Barracks, the 2nd Division HQ commands all the Reserve Brigades in Australia. The 2nd Division employs approximately 11,000 soldiers.
The G1 Branch is the hub of all personnel management and administration for the command. It is a dynamic and often changing environment which deals with recruiting, retention, personnel policy and advice for the command. It has frequent contact with the BDE's and Units within the division as well as dealing with Army HQ, Defence Force Recruiting and other external stakeholders.
They would have experience within the APS which they can bring to the team to provide detailed insight into the APS experience and management. They would have a strong understanding of Defence Policy and IT Systems. They would have a willingness to learn.
