12 Month non-ongoing contract to join a new team who procure consultants and contractors.
**Your new company**
Join a new procurement team who have been established to procure contractors and consultants to the organisation nationally. As the team establishes this may grow to include hardware and software services.

**Your new role**
As a Contracting Officer you will have considerable level of stakeholder engagement and will liaise with stakeholders in relation to complex issues. You will be required to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders’ needs and expectations to achieve organisational outcomes.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Accountable for providing advice and support to procurement planning, tendering and contract formation and contract management activities while ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance, advice and services during the procurement lifecycle on contracting activities including coordination of legal and financial services.
- Draft and review contracting correspondence including complex, commercially sensitive reports, submissions, contract change proposals and other documents as required.
- Understand and provide advice on commercial risk, legal principles and contractual performance requirements.

**What you'll get in return**
This role will be offered as a 12 month non-ongoing contract with the view for permanency. They offer flexible working arrangements with an option to work 2-3 days from home.
