Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT (Anglicare) is a trauma-informed, Sanctuary agency who are seeking an experiecned leader for a Regional Manager position.
The ITC Regional Manager is responsible for the management of Therapeutic Care Teams who supervise, support and provide trauma informed therapeutic care to young people with medium to high needs in a residential care setting and to guide their transition to permanent care placements.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Regional Manager will be responsible for:
- Commit to training in the trauma informed Sanctuary Model and implementing this model of care in day to day work with young people and all members of their Care Team.
- Follow 10 Essential Elements when supporting cares teams to work in a therapeutic and collaborative manner with young people and their families.
- Monitor the physical, emotional, cultural, psychological and moral safety of children and young people.
- Supervise the portfolio of ITC Care Teams in the delivery of day-to-day operations of the ITC home.
- Support and lead ITC Care Teams to continually assess, develop, implement, monitor and review the planning for the child or young person to reach their potential.
- Monitor and maintain the program budgets and respond to required Agency financial procedures including monthly service I&E statements and program acquittals
This role is a full-time opportunity on a permanent contract. It offers a flexible working arrangement but will involve supervision to take place in the ITC homes. This role can be based in Canberra, Queanbeyan or Wagga Wagga.

**About You**:
- Bachelor Degree in social work, psychology or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in cultural strengths-based practice with Aboriginal people, families and communities
- Demonstrated ability to work with children and young people with complex care needs
- Ability to oversee staff and support staff in a therapeutic care framework
- Competent knowledge and understanding of NSW Child Protection legislation and PSP standards
- High level knowledge of inter-generational trauma and culturally safe practice
