As the R**egional Manager ACT**, you will be responsible for driving the development and expansion of commercial partnerships, ensuring Qantas Group sales targets are achieved. As the most senior Qantas representative in the region, you will also be responsible for managing broad set of relationships across both the Government and broader industry stakeholders. The Regional Manager is also critical for coordinating efforts across the Qantas Group to deliver the best outcomes for our stakeholders in the region.
You will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy in ACT, ensuring they are aligned with the broader long
- and short-term business strategy. You will oversee the development and implementation of sales and distribution initiatives, including strategically managing relationships with external customers.
To be successful in this role you will be required to build and establish close relationships with key customers including government and industry stakeholders, ensuring customer needs are met. You will also be required to maintain internal stakeholder relationships, working closely with the broader business whilst also managing and mentoring direct reports.
**You’ll have -**
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results within a complex business environment with varying stakeholder needs and expectations
- Experience managing customer relationships, including contract negotiations ideally within a government context
- Well-developed communication, inter-personal and presentation skills
- Strong commercial acumen with a well-developed understanding of strategic, financial, business and policy issues
- Demonstrated experience in strategy development and implementation, with consideration for and understanding of change management methodologies
- Ability to grow and handle the increasing complexities of the Travel industry; experience in the Airline industry is advantageous
- Proven strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complexity and think broadly, with attention to detail
